And today, we’re gonna pinpoint just what that mysterious “something special” is! Keep on reading for a full breakdown of how The Pizza Plant’s plantbased pepperoni is made, including what fully vegan, organic ingredients we use and how we use them.

Now, let’s dive into how our must-try plantbased pepperoni is made:
Always wholesome, always healthy ingredients
For starters, we craft our mouth-watering, vegan pepperoni from scratch, giving it a ‘home-cooked’ feel unlike any other. Furthermore, we only use wholesome, and truly healthy ingredients in creating our plantbased pepperoni. Our plantbased pepperoni begins with a base of wheat gluten and tofu, and then is mixed with a blend of seasonings and marinades that includes safflower oil, onion, tamari, agave, sea salt, paprika, garlic, black pepper, and cayenne. All of these ingredients are fully vegan and derived straight from plants, making them better for both you and the environment. Our careful pick and mix of seasonings makes our vegan pepperoni healthier, tastier, and better than not only pepperoni made from meat, but all other plantbased pepperonis on the market.
Organic is the key
If there’s one key thing that makes our plantbased pepperoni special, it’s the use of all organic ingredients. In fact, every ingredient you saw listed above (and more!) are fully organic. But what exactly does this mean? When a food is USDA Certified Organic, the USDA has approved it as not containing harmful chemicals and pesticides that can be found in inorganic foods. Organic foods are better for us because they are more nutrient rich and don’t contain harmful chemicals and GMOs that can cause damage to our bodies. Organic foods are also better for the environment, as organic farming prevents damage caused by pesticides and chemical fertilizers to local ecosystems. Broadly speaking, organic is better. And at The Pizza Plant, we know this and ensure that all of our pizzas put their best foot forward for you, our plant-hungry consumers. We are also aware that truly wholesome, organic ingredients are more expensive than artificial ones. But, we believe that quality should never be sacrificed – and trust us when we say, the quality of our pizzas shines through with every bite.
Taste speaks for itself
We could ‘blab on’ all day long about how our plantbased pepperoni is made. And, don’t get us wrong! The wholesome and organic ingredients that make up our pepperoni are beyond important. But, what really makes this vegan topping stand out is the taste. Our plantbased pepperoni is made with true love and care, and the taste reflects this. Savory and slightly sweet, salty with just the right amount of meaty texture, we guarantee that one taste of our plantbased pepperoni will have you lunging out of your chair for seconds. Now that you know how it’s made, go on and give it a try! We promise you won’t regret it.
