After taking a two year hiatus due to the pandemic, the largest musical festival of the year - The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival - is back for 2022! Located in Indio, California, this desert Festival is the one-stop-event for music, festival, fashion, or food lovers. If you’re going, you can expect to see tons of your favorite celebrities there, as well as some of the most popular music artists of the moment. Maybe to your surprise, you can also expect to see tons of delicious, vegan food vendors there. Are you a vegan eater heading to Coachella this year? Then this post is for you!

There are plenty of amazing vegan food options at the Festival, and today, we’re breaking down all of the vegan vendors that you must try out over the course of the three-day weekend. It turns out, Coachella is quite the vegan-friendly festival, as you’ll see below!

Craving some vegan food now? Us too! Head to your local grocery store or shop online for The Pizza Plant. Our pizzas are scratch made, Organic, fully vegan, and delicious. For a pizza topped with vegan pepperoni, try our Everything But The Hog plantbased pizza. To try some tasty vegan sausage, go for our Salsiccia Italiano plantbased pizza.

Now, let’s break down vegan food options at Coachella! Unfortunately, the exact list of food vendors for the 2022 Coachella Festival has yet to be released, but here are some vendors that were at the Festival and served vegan food. We can only hope to expect again this year!

  1. Trejos Tacos

This Los Angeles taco spot has gained serious popularity over the last few years – and it’s for good reason. On top of serving classic delicious Mexican dishes, such as chips and guacamole, they also have quite a few unique vegan options, like cauliflower tacos. Trejos made an appearance at the 2019 Coachella Festival, and we certainly hope they do again this year.

  1. Monty’s Good Burger

A long day spent in the desert heat will no doubt have you craving a burger, fries, and shake, and Monty’s is the best spot to grab fully vegan versions of these. This brand actually made their debut at Coachella in 2019, and now has a full-time location in Koreatown, Los Angeles.

  1. Konbi

If you’re looking to try out some unique foods that stray from your norm, Konbi is certainly a vendor you’ll want to stop by at Coachella! The brand serves up Japanese style sandwiches, and while at Coachella in 2019, had a fully vegan option on the menu that included plantbased eggplant katsu – yum!

  1. Van Leeuwen Ice Cream

Okay – we know we said that the hot weather will have you craving a burger and fries, but Van Leeuwen Ice Cream may be the one thing you’ll crave more. The brand has two delicious, fully plantbased flavors (Vegan Green Planet and Vegan PB&J Bon Bon) that we hope to get a dose of at this year’s Coachella.

  1. Ramen Hood

As vegan eaters, we know there are always a few non-vegan meals that you can’t help but miss and crave. And now, ramen doesn’t have to be one of them. Ramen Hood serves fully vegan bowls of ramen – even the ‘hard boiled eggs’ are fully vegan. They have a restaurant located in Los Angeles and made an appearance at Coachella in 2019. Our fingers are definitely crossed for this one to come back!

We hope you feel excited about the vegan possibilities at Coachella this year. Believe it or not, we’ve only scratched the surface of vegan food vendors that could potentially be at Coachella this year.
